AIPSO'S CENTRAL REGION'S CHICAGO OFFICE MOVES TO NEW ADDRESS.
Effective December 18, 2006, the AIPSO Central Region's Chicago Office will be located at a new address:

The office's toll free telephone number (888)706-6100 will remain unchanged. Please note, however, that effective December 18 the Central Region's Chicago office will have a new fax number: (312) 494-1750.
Producer Certification
Agents and brokers must be Certified by the MJUA before they can submit applications to the MJUA.
Premium Estimation
There is no premium quotation service provided by the MJUA.
Producers are to estimate the premium using the MJUA Manual. The servicing carrier reserves the right to adjust the premium either prior to or after the issuance of the policy, whenever applicable.
Submission Of Business To The MJUA
Producer must use the approved Missouri Joint Underwriting Association application form. The completed application, along with the appropriate deposit check, is sent directly to the servicing carrier.
Change in Policy Coverage
Any change to an existing policy must be submitted directly to the servicing carrier on the approved Policy Change Request form.
If the change requested increases the premium, a 30% deposit must be included with the Policy Change Request form.
Problem with an Servicing carrier
If there is a problem relating to rating, service, or a claim, the producer should contact the servicing carrier. When calling the servicing carrier, keep a record of the telephone calls specifying the date of the call, the name of the person contacted, and his or her response.
If, after following normal business procedures, a satisfactory response is not received from the servicing carrier, or if the servicing carrier has not performed in accordance with the standards established by the MJUA, then you may then submit a formal complaint to the company. Send a copy of your complaint to the MJUA office and include a copy of your file. The MJUA office can then get actively involved in resolving the problem.
